No Shoes

Today, I had a girl who didn't come in shoes. I didn't notice it right away. But I did manage to ask the boyfriend of the girl's mother, where were her shoes. He said he couldn't find them. I told him she needed shoes to go out and play. He didn't seem to care. I don't have back-up shoes for the dc kids. I do have some outfits but not shoes. How can someone take a child to someone else's house and not have shoes?

Well At my center we just started this new thing called the No shoe zone in the classrooms as well as the inside gym area. In the classrooms and in teh gym the kids wear socks. We are tring to figure out a way to get them in and out of the bathroom without having to change their socks. If anyone has any suggestions it would be helpful.
