Challenging behavior.....not one of us has escaped it I'm sure. This is a good article and great 10 minute video about what WE might be bringing to our dcs and to the kids' challenging behaviors ourselves. Certainly lots of food for thought. Worth the read IMO.

Great article! Years ago I came across a similar approach to behaviors and loved the perspective! I have the same paragraph hanging on my parent board:
"If children don't know how to read, we teach!
If children don't know how to write, we teach!
If children don't know how to count, we teach!
If children don't know how to behave, we....punish??"
