I run a home childcare. I currently have 6 children and we try to utilize our basement most of the day. However I'm trying to change one of our rooms into a "preschool" room. We have 1 large room for toys and free play and the other room is a nap room for the little ones. I am thinking about adding the preschool room to the nap room as we do preschool before lunch and I don't have any little children that nap in the morning. I'm curious if anybody has pictures of their home preschool area that you would be willing share.

Pretty much my whole downstairs is used for our preschool. You can check out my most recent pictures on my website...

WOW! I am so impressed! Your place is awesome! Please tell us where you got the mini chairs that look like leather. (We have the cloth ones that easily get stained)
Really, really cool! If I was little I'd want to come to your house to play and learn!

It's the reading center ones. They're vinyl but they look like leather in the pic. Great idea!
Not sure if our center can afford them. I'm going to look around to see if I can find them cheaper.

I have to say, I'm from Great Falls, MT as well.....funny how large this site is and that there are 2 people from the same city/state.....thanks to everyone that has posted and especially a huge thanks for the pictures. I only have my basement to work with, I wish it was larger to make "areas."

Wow! That certainly is something! I wonder if there are any others?
I know on base, we seem to be having a shortage of children. Are you finding the same thing off base as well?

I find this hilarious! I used to live in Montana (my parents have a place between Belt and Highwood, but a Great Falls address) and I have been there for a week each summer for the past 2 years. I lived there for 5 1/2 years and at some point within the next 3-10 years, my husband and I plan to sell our house and move there. Out of all the places I have ever lived (spent most of my life in FL) I am through and through a Montana girl. I am glad that my husband fell for the place when I got him there for the first time last year
