If it's possible, it would be best to change the name of this "sticky" to "Curriculum Ideas"
Or else make a new thread with that title, and the same links.

I just found an awesome work unit on Smokey Bear
HERE. It's geared to K-2, but it looks like it can easily be adapted for the pre-K set.

Wow, that is a great site Countrygal! Thanks for sharing that! We have had a few wild fires buring in our state and the damamge is devestating so teaching the kids about fire safety is important! Plus, I live Smokey the Bear!

I found this site
http://www.preschoolpalace.org/
It isn't the best I've ever seen, but at $11.99 for 10 months curriculum, it's pretty affordable. Right now, they have 2 cycles available with a 3rd to come.
Bonus, at the beginning of the month, it appears that they offer the previous month of both cycles as a free download. I have downloaded Sept and Oct for next year, because most of their stuff is too advanced for my 2 year old. I'm just picking and choosing ideas right now. It will be great next year though.

This is one of my favorite sites. She believes in learning through play and allowing the child/children to figure things and make discoveries without our adult input

I have implemented several of her ideas in our daycare with great success.

I just started using this curriculum a few months ago. I love that it covers all ages and is very inexpensive. Plus, I get a discount because I'm an NAFCC member.

All,
This site may be useful for those interested in crafts for their daycare. It is geared for kids 2-7. It has saved me lots of time for my daycare,as I do not have the time or creativity to create crafts on my own.
From the site:
"Our craft kits provide something fun 5 days a week for children, whether in a child care, home school, camp, or family environment. Each month we feature a different theme which several of the products will be centered around. Our kits are a combination of fun and educational. Crafts are not are not repeated for several years, making this a kit you can order monthly for years. Kits are appropriate for ages 2-7."

Good morning everyone.
I want to order the Funshine Express ciriculium. If I give them a name of a current subscriber, we both get 20% off an order. Is anyone using this program. Let me know your thoughts.
