Default Abcmouse.com And Similar Sites For Kids?????

Anyone subscribe to online learning sites for kids? I always see the abcmouse.com commercials on tv and wondered what these sites are all about. Looks like it's 7.95 a month.

I don't subscribe to any childrens online learning sites. There are plenty of free ones available. Starfall.com and pbskids.org are the first two that come to mind. My SIL used to do daycare, and she has given me several computer games, like Reader Rabbit & Jumpstart for a variety of ages.

I do only because my 4year old son LOVES It. But its not 7.95 its 10.95. Only the first month is 7.95.

How old are your DCK. The rest of mine who are 3-4 get very frustrated trying to use the mouse. I try to sit and teach them, but it's not as easy as you would think. I have a little tykes computer system setup and I love it, but you will have to sit there and coach them every step of the way

I do not actually want to use the program for daycare. I figure kids get enough screen time anyway. I just wondered what they were all about. My son has an ixl computer which he got for Christmas and is allowed to play 30 minutes a day- he rarely lasts that long anyway.

yeah my son can do it for about 15-20 min and he does not do it every day. We don't watch tv during daycare and we hardly have time to sit and watch it at night.

if you do the solo acct, it would only cost 7.95... YOu can do a free 30 day trail

I looked at it too, it looks great, but I'm too cheap to pay for it.

We use lots of free sites.
www.starfall.com is our favorite.
